This policy explains what this website (lansingcarrentals.com) collects, why, who helps us process it and how long we keep it. It describes how the site actually works today. Questions or requests: partners@lansingcarrentals.com.

Renting through Turo

We don’t take rental bookings or payments on this site. “Book With Us” opens Turo, which collects the information for your trip under Turo’s own privacy policy and terms.

What we collect for the partner program

• Your application: name, email, phone, whether you apply as an individual or business, legal contracting name, authorized signer and title, contribution type and amount or vehicle count, vehicle details you provide (such as year, make, model, VIN, color, estimated value, mileage and title holder or lienholder), city and state, desired start date, your questions, your reserve choice, and the time you gave the acknowledgments on the form.
• Call scheduling: the call time you choose, cancellations and reschedules. To apply our booking rule (one booking per email address and per phone number for any calendar date), we keep a record of the email address, phone number and date of every booking, including canceled and moved ones.
• Agreements and e-signing: each agreement version and its data, delivery and viewing events, the one-time email verification, your consent to electronic signing, your signature, and for each step the server time, IP address and browser identifier. These form the audit record attached to the signed PDF.
• Email delivery records: which messages were queued, accepted or failed, so problems can be fixed.
• Security records: short-lived counters of attempts per IP address to stop abuse (deleted after about a day), and session records for signed-in pages.

How we use it

To review your application, schedule and hold your call, prepare, send and execute your agreement, send the emails described on the site, keep records of the signing, enforce the booking rule and protect the site. We don’t sell personal information, use it for advertising, or share it for others’ marketing.

Service providers

• Cloudflare hosts the site and its database and processes request data (such as IP addresses) to deliver and protect it.
• Resend sends our emails, so it receives the recipient address and message content.
• Google Calendar (the owner’s private calendar) receives your name, phone, email, contribution summary and call time so the owner can call you, and is checked for busy times.

Cookies

We use only cookies needed for the site to work: a session cookie after you submit an application (so you can schedule and manage your call), a short signing-session cookie while you sign, and the owner’s sign-in cookie. There are no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and fonts and images are served from this site.

How long we keep it

• Applications, call records, notes and email-delivery records: while your application or partnership is active, and afterward until you ask us to delete them, except what we need to keep below.
• Signed agreements, versions and their audit records: for the life of the partnership and afterward as a record of the agreement.
• Booking-date records (email, phone, date): kept indefinitely, because the booking rule applies to every date ever booked.
• Links and codes expire on their own (signing links after 14 days, application links after 60 days, verification codes after 10 minutes, password links after 30 minutes).

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information by emailing partners@lansingcarrentals.com. We may keep records we need for a signed agreement, the booking rule or security, and we’ll tell you if so. Private links in our emails are meant for you only; please don’t forward them.

Security

Private pages require a private link, a signed-in session or a one-time code, are not cached or indexed, and are protected against cross-site requests. Only hashes of links and session identifiers are stored. Integration tokens are encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, so please contact us right away if you notice anything unusual.

Children

The partner program is for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update the date above. Material changes for existing applicants or partners will be emailed.
